Job and Internship Fair – PLUS

The Job and Internship Fair PLUS took place on Monday in the McLeod Center on UNI’s campus.  The event lasted from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Graduates and undergraduates were invited to mill around two levels of the McLeod Center to visit with the vast number of professionals that were in attendance.

The Job and Internship Fair allows students to gain an edge on a professional level and network with many different companies. While the students practice their adept conversational skills, they are also swapping information with experienced networkers who help students make connections.

The Fair also admits pre-professionals to clarify their goals specific to their careers.  A number of companies were searching for specific majors, however were also willing to visit with and accept information from different majors for possible future positions.

Companies included — but were not limited to — accounting firms, insurance companies, child and youth services, healthcare institutions, the Army Reserves, and several educational institutions.
